Dr. James Esserman has been in private practice for more than 35 years. In the past, he has been the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at both Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital. He is currently serving on the Department Advising Committee at Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Esserman has received many awards throughout his career, including America’s Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists, U.S. News & World Report Top Doctor, and Patient’s Choice Award.
He strives to improve the quality of care and patient safety at the hospitals. Dr. Esserman believes in treating patients with compassion and understanding. He has been an instrumental pioneer in developing a healthcare model to improve the quality of care for women.
