Dr. Walkington was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended medical school at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine and then pursued her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Having trained in the largest Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs in the United States has allowed Dr. Walkington to develop skills to provide comprehensive women’s care — from adolescence to pregnancy and menopause. Dr. Walkington looks forward to providing care to all women in search of a female OBGYN in Miami and South Florida.
Dr. Walkington enjoys practicing the many facets of obstetrics and gynecology, but she takes special interests in labor and delivery, mental health during pregnancy, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and minimally invasive surgery.
