Anna Davis, MD, FACOG
Dr. Davis was born and raised in Miami, FL. She received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Davis then attended medical school at the University of Florida. While in medical school, she led a team of more than 20 health care providers on two medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She was also an active member of the Holistic Medicine Group and the Health Outreach Association.
After eight years away, Dr. Davis chose to return home to pursue her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her proudest accomplishment was being awarded the 34th Annual Helen Lansman Award, which is given to the resident who has shown the most compassion toward patients.
Dr. Davis currently enjoys her practice tremendously. Her passion for her field is broad and all-encompassing, but she does have a special interest in adolescent gynecology, menopause, high-risk pregnancies, and breastfeeding. She became a mother in 2012 only to be blessed with a second baby in 2015. Dr. Davis feels the experience of being a mother allows her to bring a different perspective to the women she treats.
